9. Introduction to Photosensitive Processes
Every time we have a blizzard here in Colorado with the national news giving the impression we live in igloos, I have to smile. Our hidden secret is that we enjoy 300 days of sunshine every year—on Thanksgiving, there’s more golf than sledding! With all the glowing sunsets, I became interested in somehow using that great natural resource, sunshine, in my artwork. The techniques in this chapter are the result of that interest, and have allowed me to produce some of the most creative and fun work I’ve ever done—and some of it won’t even last!
