Harness drive and inspire passion
Despite organisations having a shared goal, no one owes you their time or energy – they have their own lives and priorities, as do you. While the extrinsic motivators of money (and related job security) may be drivers to keep people within a team, if you can harness their drive and passion to contribute to the best of their talents while they are there (and then keep them), they play a huge role in organisational resilience, longevity and success.
