This appendix is heavy on philosophy. If that turns you off, you can skip it, but we think that it will help you think about your place in the universe or at least your role within your company, organization, or SA team. Examining your own role within an organization helps you focus, which helps you do a better job. It can give you a long-term perspective on your career, which can help you make the big career decisions necessary for having a happy and successful life.
