Discord is a voice, video, and text-based community platform with over 150 million monthly active users. After selling OpenFeint, which created ready-made code for game developers and was used by approximately 30% of App Store games, Citron founded a game studio, Hammer and Chisel, in 2012. In 2015, Citron and his cofounder Stanislav Vishnevskiy pivoted to release Discord in 2015 as a way for gamers to play and chat during and after gaming – to “solve discord within the gaming community.” ...
