8.1.2.4.2 Municipal System
A municipal system is an alarm system run by a municipality and distinguished by
“pull boxes” directly connected to the re emergency response units. ese systems,
also called public alarm reporting systems, were popular decades ago because it
would otherwise have been dicult to contact the re department through lack of
available phones and interconnected networks. Although such a system provides a
