I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
7.2. Step 9: Execute the deployment plan
Now that you have some successes, it is time to start the longer process of deployment as defined in your deployment plan. It is now time to tackle the bigger projects. During this time, project management and controls are critical. It is also important to maintain your awareness of the satisfaction of the user community and of the stakeholders and sponsors.
This is an ideal time to repeat the deployment kickoff meetings held earlier and provide a status report on the quick successes and reset the expectations for the rest of the deployment. These meetings can now include live demonstrations of the early projects to reinforce the success and reiterate the vision.
