Dealing with Toxic People One-on-One

In situations with a toxic individual, basically I start by just sitting down with the individual, and being very direct about my feedback, letting them know how their behavior is affecting me and others in the organization. I value them for who they are, building them up, and then lay out the specific things they do that are destructive and that could be turned into positives. I try to get them to use their energy in a positive way.
