So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Project 9D: Installing DEB Packages Not Available via the Ubuntu Repositories: Skype
As you may recall, the applications you install from the various Ubuntu repositories via Synaptic or Add/Remove Applications are in the form of DEB packages—and the repositories are filled with such packages.
