Introduction

Imagine a world in which you can go about your life, as you normally do, with no apparent technology, where the world itself helps you through your day. You can summon digital information at will and interact with it as though it is part of the physical world. You can summon different environments as you wish, whether it be for the purpose of aiding yourself or others or just for the fun of it. The digital information can be portrayed as though it is a fantastic addition to the world or it can be so photorealistic and behave so much like what it represents that it is indistinguishable from the real world.
