It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

What Is LBAC? A High-Level Overview
Label Based Access Control (LBAC) is an access control mechanism that provides a finer granularity of control over data than has been traditionally provided by table privileges. LBAC restricts access to objects based on the sensitivity (as represented by a security label) of the information contained in the objects and the formal authorization (that is, clearance) of subjects to access information of such sensitivity. By default, a user cannot access data protected by LBAC unless a valid security label is granted.
