I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Today’s headlines have an unfortunate, recurrent theme…security breaches are becoming common place. Thousands of credit card numbers have been stolen and identity theft is on the rise throughout the world. As a result, legislative bodies are proposing ever more stringent laws and forcing corporations to fund security protections for their citizens’ data. Corporations also recognize that their continued viability depends on ensuring that the customer’s trust is not disrupted by a data breach. Fortunately for all of us, enterprises are becoming increasingly concerned about keeping their (our) data (data that is stored in databases such as DB2) safe.
