It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As varied as human emotions, the reasons to consider the human factor in any security setting are just as important as building the technological foundation for a secure architecture.

No security implementation would be complete without addressing the human factor. Throughout this book, the focus has been on the “geeky” side of DB2 security or, in some cases, the “managerial” side of security, both of which are critical. Until humans (and the strong emotions that drive them) can be eliminated from the security equation, security planning has to factor all the varieties of human intervention into building a secure environment.
