Perspective-Based UI Inspection
This chapter focuses on the perspective-based UI inspection. In this method, members of a product team evaluate a product from assigned perspectives. These perspectives can be based on many things including: personas, principles (e.g., prevent errors), age groups, frequency of use, and disabilities. Participants are asked to elicit usability problems based on an understanding of the perspective. This method can complement other methods like cognitive walkthroughs and heuristic evaluations.
