It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

PRAGMA lock_proxy_file = 'file_path';Description
The lock_proxy_file pragma gets or sets the file
used for proxy locks. The value :auto: will set it back to the automatic
default. The proxy locking system is only available on Mac OS X,
and only applies to databases residing on Apple Filing Protocol
shares.
This is an undocumented pragma.
