Seeing Inside and Out

As the decade of the 1960s blended into the 1970s, Herb and David decided to go their separate ways. Herb says, “I can’t say, for sure, why. Were we too similar? Spending too much time together? Getting in each other’s ways? Tripping over each other? Who knows? I think back on it often and wonder if there might have been something I could have done differently. I can’t help but wonder how Caliper might have been different if David had stayed. But for whatever reasons, we decided that he would go his way and I would go mine. We agreed that I would buy him out, and Caliper carried on from there.”
