So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In the early 1980s, Herb asked his neighbor, architect Bob Hillier, to design and build offices for Caliper in Princeton on Mt. Lucas Road. Everything was looking up. The consulting firm was growing at levels that afforded Herb opportunities to experiment in ways he never could before.
One of those attempts was to purchase an AM radio station, which was floundering at the bottom of the local marketplace, and try to convert it into a station that would remind him of what radio used to be like when he was a child.
