Summary
In this final chapter, we looked at using SQL Server in the cloud and why we would want to do this. We looked at big data, what is coming in the future from Microsoft and how it will come to broaden our skill sets as DBAs and developers. We cut through the marketing hype to discuss useful and objective, real-world advice about what these platforms can and cannot do, laying to rest the idea that they are soon to replace relational platforms.
