The sort parameter

You can sort by a field, multiple fields, an array, an object, or a nested object. You can sort the fields with a primitive data type or in _geo_distance.

Let's look at an example involving multiple fields. We want to obtain ishares edge msci series commission free ETFs. The result needs to be sorted with the rating field first, followed by the symbol field. In the following screenshot, there are six ETFs that satisfy the search criteria. You can see that the rating field is sorted first in descending order, followed by the symbol field in ascending order:
