I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Running the sample ES-Hadoop project using a prepared Docker image
We have prepared a Docker image, named eshadoop, located on the Docker Hub website (https://cloud.docker.com/repository/docker/wtwong316/waitakwong). Follow the instructions and run the Python program:
- Pull the Docker image; issue the following command to download the Docker image:
$docker pull wtwong316/waitakwong:eshadoop
- Verify the eshadoop Docker image; issue the following command to find the image identifier from the IMAGE ID column, which is 42141517aefa:
$ docker imagesREPOSITORY TAG IMAGE ID CREATED SIZEwtwong316/waitakwong eshadoop 42141517aefa 42 minutes ago 1.29GB
- Run the eshadoop Docker image; issue the following command to run the eshadoop application. The ...
