The query clause is written in a given user-defined script. Usually, it is used in the filter context where the filter parameter is placed in a bool query after must or should clauses. Let's look at an example of using a bool query to embed a filter with a script query. This example will retrieve the ETFs with the fund_name field starting with ishares edge and rating≥4, as shown in the following screenshot. There are 4 ETFs in total:
