So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Reindex API
Your index design may not be perfect and you may need to make changes to existing fields or the analyzers. At that time, you'll have to reindex. On the other hand, due to the removal of mapping types in version 7.0, you have to perform a reindex operation if you have used multiple types in one index. Let's start with the simple Reindex API and then practice reindexing for the migration from a multiple mapping types index.
