It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

11.1 実運用への対応
第II部全体を通じて、アプリケーションのフレームワークとこれを利用したシンプルな例を少しずつ作成してきました。概念を学ぶ上では役に立ったかと思いますが、このフレームワークを実環境で運用することは推奨しません。本書のために学習用として作成したフレームワークだからです。よく使われる機能については、実運用にも適したライブラリがすでに作られているはずです。例えばセッションの履歴の管理には、history（https://www.npmjs.com/package/history）を利用できます。本書では意図的に、このようなライブラリの利用を回避しています。単にライブラリのAPIを学ぶのではなく、基礎的な概念やネイティブなAPIに親しむことをめざしました。もちろん、十分に普及しておりサポートがしっかりしているオープンソースのソリューションを使うというのもよいことです。我々が考慮していないような、発生しにくい問題にも対応されていることがよくあります。
