Bluetooth is used for hands-free car phones, streaming audio to headphones, data transfer, and communication between devices. The HC-05 Bluetooth module mounted on a breakout board is recommended, as the module itself does not have connecting pins. The HC-05 module communicates by Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP) with a coverage distance of up to 10m.
