So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Strategic governance
Strategic governance represents the top of the decision pyramid. This governance tier requires executive sponsorship from the various organizations and business units, and is responsible for ensuring that the vision and strategy align with network objectives. It should also be focused on ensuring that the business benefits are realized.
Strategic governance will be focused on the following:
- Creating a common business vision
- Defining a clear mandate and governance structure (stakeholder-driven)
- Setting the agenda as to the priorities of the network
- Ensuring that the business objectives are met
- Developing and evolving network competencies
