I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...

Make a new repository by visiting https://github.com/new.

Enter the name of your repository, for example "jekblog". Leave all the other options as is, and click on the button at the bottom that says "Create repository".

A new window will open. Find the section that has the title with the following text:

- Open the chapter10/complete/recipe3 folder in your Bash.
- Add a new file to the folder; this will be a dotfile, titled .gitignore. To add it, type the following command with your console pointing to the root of recipe 3:
touch .gitignore
