Conclusion
To deliver brilliant customer service, you have to like your customers. It’s all about which colour filter you are viewing your customers through. When I work with some businesses, I am amazed at the way customers are talked about, often negatively and even scornfully. The one thing a customer can pick up very quickly is whether you are genuine or not and they know if they are not being valued. We all have experiences of brilliant service and poor service and yet it is challenging to be consistent. If you can create a culture in your business, or in your team, or as an individual, of wanting to understand customers’ needs, appreciating their importance, you will be able to deliver brilliant service no matter what the situation.
