When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Conclusion
When I launched 360Learning nearly a decade ago, the world looked very different to how it does today. The fact that this learning platform continues to drive innovation and success at my own company in addition to the hundreds of others that have joined the movement is the strongest testament I can imagine to the virtues of this approach to knowledge creation.
Make no mistake: diving into the world of collaborative learning can be frightening. To this day, many executives and L&D professionals I speak to are sceptical about upskilling from within through collaborative learning, despite its long track record of success. This speaks volumes about how deeply ingrained top-down styles of learning have become in our society. We have become ...
