Here it is, the core of the desktop computer: the CPU. This is the second part of our coverage of Objective 3.4. Throughout this chapter, I often refer to the AV-Editor computer, which has a motherboard with an X99 chipset and a Core i7-5820K CPU. Refer to Chapter 16, Figure 16.1, and the supporting text, for more information about the motherboard. There’s lots to do, so let’s not waste any time!
