Storage drives contain the data that we need, so we depend on our drives and RAID arrays to run efficiently every day. For this to happen, the drives need to be healthy. We can keep our drives healthy by carrying out a variety of precautionary measures. But sometimes, our systems can be affected by powers outside our control and beyond our planning. Then, they can potentially fail—and then, we have to troubleshoot.
