For a service that’s all about brief, pithy messages, Twitter can sure get complicated. An entire Twitter-obsessed industry exists with apps, services, and tools to tap into the vast Twitter universe. But if you’re looking to post an image to Twitter, you don’t really want to deal with a gazillion choices. And you don’t really need to do so. Twitter’s own iPhone app, Twitter (Twitter; free), lets you post images, and it also provides flexibility in deciding where those images will be hosted. That’s right: When you post an image to Twitter, you’re really just posting a URL pointing to an image that’s stored elsewhere.
