Challenge 48. Mirror Your Image
Description
Create a mirrored image in Photoshop. There are endless possibilities for how this can be visually appealing: You can mirror the background but mask out the subject so the background is surreal but the subject looks real. You can create an abstract by duplicating the layer, flipping it, and changing the blend modes. You can mirror the entire image to create a soothingly symmetrical and unusual abstract. You can mirror a face so it becomes perfectly symmetrical. It all depends on what appeals to you, and I’ve done all of them.
For this challenge, symmetry can be based not in reality but instead solely in Photoshop. It doesn’t have to be believable—go for extreme and even abstract!
