About the Authors
Martin Kihn is senior vice president of market strategy for Salesforce, where he provides market guidance and product insights for the world’s #1 Marketing Cloud. Before joining Salesforce, he led the data-driven marketing practice as research vice president at Gartner, focusing on marketing data integration and analytics. After earning his MBA from Columbia Business School, he worked for a time as a management consultant—an experience described in his book, House of Lies, which was the basis for a Showtime series. He is the author of two other memoirs, coauthor with Chris O’Hara of Customer Data Platforms: Use People Data to Power Marketing Transformation (Wiley), and his work has appeared in Forbes, Fast Company, the New York Times, New York, AdExchanger, and many other publications.
