“Data is the new oil.” Clive Humby, a British mathematician and data science entrepreneur, said that all the way back in 2006! What did he know that most didn’t? Well, he clearly must have seen the explosive potential for revenue generation that is available via the right combination of data resources, data expertise, and business-building know-how.
