Borland Data Provider Classes

The BDP classes correspond to other data provider classes directly. BDP classes are defined in the Borland.Data.Provider namespace. In fact, much of what you have read in the chapters covering ADO.NET used the classes from the System.Data.SQLClient namespace only. This coverage pertained to other Data Providers classes as well, and the same goes for the BDP classes. You should already know how to use these classes for the most part. Therefore, this chapter introduces each class and provides an example on its usage. The details of using these classes are not repeated. Table 24.1 shows the corresponding classes from the Borland, SqlClient, and OleDB data providers.
