Authorization
Authentication identifies a user. Authorization determines the level of access a user has to a resource or set of resources. I discuss four forms of authorization in the following sections.
File Authorization
File authentication is based on the Windows accounts, NTFS and Access Control Lists (ACL). You provide access to users of a system through the Security tab of the Folder Properties dialog box. You can access this dialog box by right-clicking on any folder and selecting Properties. Figure 31.4 shows this form.
