It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Description
By default,
Delphi assigns dispatch identifiers to methods and properties in a
dispatch interface declaration, or you can specify them explicitly
with the dispid directive. You cannot specify the
index of a dispid that is already used in the
enclosing dispinterface.
