5.5 HRQoL Metrics for Use in Economic Evaluations
One key aspect of an economic evaluation is the derivation of the metric (or
input) for generating the ICER and the cost-effectiveness acceptability curve
(CEAC). There are two common metrics derived from raw HRQoL data used
in an economic evaluation. These are

2. The Q-TWiST
Both of these measures have relative advantages and disadvantages, which
