We previously learned about how to create tasks with Tasker, scripts with SL4A, and native applications with AIDE. In this chapter, we are going to combine tasks and scripts so that we may benefit from the strengths of each. That is because Tasker has the ability to pass values to and from SL4A scripts. Both can be used for prototyping and refining apps that we choose to convert to native programs with a tool like AIDE or keep in perpetual, iterative development with the tasks and scripts being run.
