Nearly all the projects in this book leading up to this chapter have been focused on audio-oriented, hands-free operation. While that satisfies a great deal of useful tasks, especially when you’re constantly on the go, sometimes a picture truly speaks a thousand words.
In this chapter, we’re going to take a look at a couple of projects that work best with a user interface. We will learn about the graphic user interface (GUI) designer that is bundled with Tasker. We’ll create the interface elements and wire those up with tasks that execute when those onscreen elements are interacted with.
