Residue Gas
R
esidue Gas: (1) That portion of the natural gas stream that remains after
the extraction of ethane and heavier liquids and liqueable hydrocarbons
and impurities during processing, minus fuel, incidental losses, bypassed
natural gas, and natural gas reserved by a seller under a gas purchase agree-
ment. (2) The gas that remains after natural gas is processed and the liquids
removed.
Residuum: Residue from crude oil after distilling off all but the heaviest
components, with a boiling range greater than 1000°F.
Resieved Sand: A sand that has been run through sieves a second time to
remove nes and course particles.
