Abstract
Background: The convergence of edge computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain has the potential to revolutionize industries by addressing challenges in data processing, security, and scalability. As decentralized systems grow increasingly complex, integrating these technologies can provide solutions to emerging demands.
Methods: This review synthesizes insights from existing research and identifies key challenges, such as interoperability and energy efficiency. It highlights applications in smart cities, healthcare, and IoT.
Results: Our analysis reveals that combining Edge AI with blockchain can enhance data security, improve latency, and enable real-time decision-making. Emerging trends like 5G integration and quantum-resistant blockchains offer exciting prospects.
Conclusions: The synergy of edge computing, AI, and blockchain is essential for creating secure, efficient, and scalable systems, enabling transformative changes in technology adoption.
