Computer viruses are a major security threat that are capable of spreading and
causing malicious damage.

A computer virus is one type of threat to the security and integrity of computer
systems. Like other threats it can cause the loss or alteration of programs or
data. Unlike many other threats, a computer virus can spread from program to
program, and from system to system, without direct intentional intervention.
How a computer virus works:
Typically a computer virus performs two functions.
First it copies itself into previously uninfected programs or files. Second
