We will first see the implementation of this recipe in your Android applications.
As mentioned in the previous section of this recipe, the process is divided into two parts. Let's now see what we've just done.
Moving over to how the implementation was done in the UI section:
- We're calling for the Adview UI element related to the ad. In our case, we're using the banner one. This one will define the dimensions or the adSize of a given ad. Next, within the adUnitID property, we are adding the AdMob unit ID. You can get this ID from the Admob UI.
This ad unit ID is one per page or fragment. Just in case you want to showcase ads in every fragment of your application, simply create different ads and copy their respectable IDs ...
