I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
Everything starts with the setup process, so let's install the Firebase Remote Config Library in our Android project. Simply open up your application with Android Studio and simply copy/paste this line in your build.gradle files within the dependencies section, underneath your already-installed libraries:
compile 'com.google.firebase:firebase-config:11.4.2'
Now, simply save and sync your Android project and the gradle build system will install the library and configure your project accordingly.
