Flash Security Sandbox
Flash player comes with a security sandbox to prevent the Flash loading data or connect sockets to other resources that are not in the same domain of the hosting server. It provides a cross-domain policy file for the host to configure the IP addresses of incoming Flash connect requests.
This cross-domain policy is an XML format file placed in the server. We are using the socket connections to establish the connection to SmartFoxServer and thus we will configure the policy file for socket connection. There are two ways to set the socket policy. We can either use the Master Socket Policy server or configure the AutoSendPolicyFile setting to let SmartFoxServer send out the policy XML.
