
• BOUNDARY FILL: This fills space between a model’s boundaries, that is,
its borders. For example, if you have a curvy, hollow teacup handle made in
the Surface workspace (Figure
Bb
) and you need it solid to weld to another
body, use the Boundary Fill tool. It’s similar to the Combine tools (Join, Cut,
Intersect), as it creates, joins, or removes volumes. However, it works across
multiple bodies and components, and offers options for what to do with the
resultant geometry. To boundary fill a component, the component must be
active.
