I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Retreating Glaciers and Glacial Lake Bursts
It is a glacial lake meltwater release brought on by the failure of a dam in a glacial lake with a moraine-dam or ice-dam. The sudden release of a water dam by a glacier caused this deluge. Some of the largest floods ever recorded in human history were brought on by a glacial lake’s eruption. The buildup of melting glaciers behind glacial or moraine dams causes this flooding to occur. When such natural dams fall, the water gushes down in a strong rush because of the pressure from the water buildup.
Because moraine dams are often fragile constructions, pressure buildup could lead them to rupture. They can also be destroyed by avalanches, earthquakes, and landslides. ...
