I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The user interface microservice
Modern enterprise applications are designed with the basic concept of separating the frontend from the backend.
These two layers have very different characteristics, and therefore, they require different approaches, in terms of the following:
- Software development and life cycle
- Resource management (CPU, thread, throughput)
- Scalability and service levels
For these reasons, all new applications, from those built with monolithic architectures to new ones designed with microservices, are released with components dedicated to the management of the backend and frontend.
