When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing Prometheus
- Before installing Prometheus, make sure that your OpenShift cluster is up and running by issuing the following command:
./oc cluster statusWeb console URL: https://127.0.0.1:8443/console/Config is at host directoryVolumes are at host directoryPersistent volumes are at host directory /opt/rh/okd/3.11/openshift.local.clusterup/openshift.local.pvData will be discarded when cluster is destroyed
- Use the following code in case of failure:
Error: OpenShift cluster is not running
- Start the cluster as follows:
./oc cluster up --server-loglevel=9Getting a Docker client ...Checking if image openshift/origin-control-plane:v3.11 is available ...Checking type of volume mount ...Determining server IP ...Checking if OpenShift ...
