When you create a dense matrix, all of the values of the matrix are stored. There are times when this is unavoidable – when we care about all of the values associated with a table and the table is mostly full. Using 2D slices or arrays for dense matrix storage can often be the best choice, but if you'd like to manipulate matrices, using the Gonum package can offer data manipulation in an effective manner. In practice, most matrices do not fall into the dense matrix category.
